Warwick Castle Trip

On Thursday Cherry Class went on a trip to Warwick Castle. We learned a lot about castles, what it was like to live in a castle, Kingmakers and we even helped to break a spell that was put on a prince!
Although it was tiring, we had a fab time!

The Princess and the Pea

This morning Cherry Class had great fun! We read the story of The Princess and the Pea and acted it out.
We had brought sleeping bags to school, but the reason for them was a mystery... until we realised that we needed 20 layers for our bed to find out who the real princess was. We found that we had a few real princes and princesses in our class - who knew?!
Here are some photos of our morning.

Queen's 90th Birthday Celebrations

On Friday, Cherry and Chestnut had a party in the afternoon to celebrate the queen's birthday.

This afternoon the children in Cherry class were learning about algorithms. We used Beebots, an app on the iPad and work in our book to help us understand them.
Some of them were tricky but we didn't give up and it was great fun!
