Woburn Safari Park

Cherry Class spent Thursday at Woburn Safari Park.
We went through the safari drive through, did the foot safaris, watched a sea lion show, learnt about sea lions, looked at a range of animals, had a talk about the lemurs and petted the goats. What a very busy day!

Shabbat Shalom

Today Cherry class children had a visit from a Jewish lady. She taught us about the shabbat and we held a shabbat in school. We learnt a song and dance, looked a Hebrew books, wore some clothes and shared drinks and food. It was very fun!

Our animal art creations

Welcome to our jungle themed classroom. We had to create an animal that could fly for our homework. They are now hanging from the ceiling or dotted around in Cherry Classroom. There are lots of different animals of all shapes and sizes, like bats, parrots, butterflies, bees, pterodactyls and owls. Have a look at our pictures of them below:

Grant Turner visit

Cherry Class and the rest of the school were very fortunate today.  Grant Turner, an Olympic swimmer who competed at 2012 London Olympics, visited the school today and held a fun and energetic sponsored fitness circuit for the whole school.  This was part of the Sports for School charity to inspire the young generation.

The children were given the sponsorship forms last week.  These need to be returned to school by Friday, 10th February with the sponsorship money.  Thank you.
